Transcripts and EDPs
What is a transcript and what is on my transcript? Your transcript is a formal document that will be in your permanent school file as you complete each year of school. It will list every class and letter grade you have taken / received throughout your high school career. It is very important for you to become familiar with this important document and that you are sure everything is accurate. If you have questions, please see me right away. The following information is on your transcript.
What is an EDP (Educational Development Plan) and what is on my EDP? Clarkston Schools uses Career Cruising as a tool for all students to develop their EDPs. EDPs are completed in 8th grade and updated each year through 12th grade. It is an opportunity for students to map our their 4 years of high school. Career Cruising is also a helpful tool for College and Career research.
- Name, address, phone number, student ID number, and birth date.
- Courses you have completed 9th - 12th grade, including courses completed prior to 9th that were high school courses (Algebra or Foreign Languages are two examples).
- Credits and final grades earned in each course.
- Grade point average (GPA): does not include courses graded as S or P.
- Total number of credits earned, credits required for graduation, and your graduation date.
